Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and SmoothLayers LLC, the operator of PostBison. These terms describe use of the current service. The Privacy Policy describes how the service handles information.

TikTok delivery works differently. When draft upload is available, PostBison sends content to your TikTok drafts; you must open TikTok and finish posting it. Scheduling TikTok content does not automatically publish it.

Current scheduling features store the requested date, time, content, target, and workflow state so the product can organize planned work. A “scheduled,” “pending,” or similar status in PostBison is not confirmation that Meta published the post or that TikTok received a draft upload.

Provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and use only accounts and brands you are authorized to manage.

Social connections are user-owned and may be assigned to a brand you can access. Roles and brand permissions can limit what another user may see or change. You must not attempt to bypass those controls or access another customer’s data.

PostBison stores, validates, organizes, and prepares the content and media you submit to operate the features you request. The Privacy Policy describes the implemented storage and retention behavior; these terms do not invent a broader content license.

Only provide text, images, videos, trademarks, account credentials, and other material you are authorized to use. Review content and follow each destination platform’s rules.

You may not use PostBison to:

• break the law or violate another person’s rights;
• upload malicious code or content intended to disrupt the service;
• probe, bypass, or interfere with access controls, rate limits, or security;
• access social profiles, brands, or content without authorization;
• misrepresent your identity or authority to act for an organization; or
• use the service in a way that violates a connected platform’s terms.

PostBison can connect with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google, and Microsoft and uses infrastructure and delivery vendors described in the Privacy Policy. Your use of a provider remains subject to that provider’s own terms, permissions, availability, and review decisions.

We do not control a provider’s APIs, account restrictions, content decisions, or changes to permissions. You may disconnect a social profile in PostBison or revoke access through the provider. Either action can make related PostBison features unavailable.

PostBison is under active development. Features may be incomplete, unavailable, changed, suspended, or removed. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular publishing capability, or compatibility with every provider account type.

Provider status, permissions, and health shown by PostBison reflect the information last observed from the provider and may become stale between checks. Verify critical actions directly with the relevant platform.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SMOOTHLAYERS LLC DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SMOOTHLAYERS LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY THIRD-PARTY PLATFORM. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR OUTAGES, POLICY CHANGES, CONTENT REJECTIONS, ACCOUNT RESTRICTIONS, OR OTHER ACTIONS TAKEN BY THIRD-PARTY SERVICES SUCH AS META, FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, OR TIKTOK.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SMOOTHLAYERS LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT THE USER PAID TO SMOOTHLAYERS LLC DURING THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR US$100. THESE LIMITATIONS DO NOT APPLY WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

You may stop using PostBison and disconnect social profiles at any time.

The current product provides connection-level deletion flows but does not promise a self-service whole-account deletion feature. Contact privacy@postbison.com with an account-data request.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States. Any legal action shall be brought in the applicable state or federal courts located in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.

This page may be updated as the service changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
